Installing an in ground sprinkler system isn’t hard or expensive. You can rent a ditch bitch and do it yourself in a couple easy days. This system is pointless, you can’t leave hoses running all over your lawn or it will kill the grass, get cut with the mower, or trip someone up. This system isn’t going to be any less work then dragging a hose and $20 sprinkler around, that is unless you burry the hoses and then why not just do it the right way and get some much cheaper plastic pipe, fittings, and do the job right?

Hey George I bought 4 bags of, thought I’d try my front yard first measured out 5k sections ( front yard 20k Sq ft) set my Scott’s spreader on 5 as directed not sure if I was walking to fast but could only get about 1/2 bag for 5k? So I continued with that same result so I went over it again in opposite direction still 4 bags for 29k sg ft🤞🙏🤞🙏 that’s a lot of push spreading I hope she looks like Augusta National after the rain that we are getting tonight and tomorrow!!

I used the b con on my tall fescue and it made the grass lighter but didn't do anything to the crab grass. Do I need to spray again?

Seems to me that the best way not to burn the lawn is to apply the fertilizer when you see a decent amount of rain bearing down on the weather radar. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I can’t imagine using a pump sprayer to spray an entire yard! I use Scott’s weed and feed it works good. Now it’s not going to kill every single weed but it does thin them out quite well. I’d say it takes out about 25 percent of the weeds. You can cover a few acres in no time with a towed spreader or a truck bed mounted spreader. It might not be the best product buy it’s easy to use with equipment you already have.

Hey George: I’m getting ready to do this after repairing some grub damage. I reseeded the area but I had obvious bumps and some patches because lack of proper leveling prior to seeding (I know - I’m learning). Anyway - if I follow this would I be safe to cut low the new grass seed and to add some fast acting fertilizer ? The grass is tall fescue and it’s been exactly one month since it’s been seeded and it grew. It’s probably around 4 inches tall now

This wasn't out when I bought my Milwaukee string trimmer, which at the time was much better than the 20V DeWalt one. So now I'm a Dewalt and Milwaukee household, lol. Well, I got that Milwaukee trimmer, 9AH battery, and combo rapid charger for $250 on a fall sale, too good to pass up. The battery alone was 250. I've also bought a couple other Milwaukee items since then too. Unfortunately no single tool brand makes 100% of what you need/want.

I'm sure someone's said it but hostas are shade kings\queens, very generic though so make sure you put some pop in-between. Also look up sacred geometry, I use it as an easy template for banger designs

Can I use speedzone for garden beds? My garden beds get overgrowth with weeds and I'm hoping to find a good pre/post-emergent to take care of that.

Great content, thanks! Quick question - I've read that many of the big box store herbicides are too weak to do much good. However they seem to have the correct ingredients, just not a high enough concentration. Could you just increase the ratio used to get the stronger version. For example, mix 4 times the amount of the old Weed-B-Gone (or similar) into your pump sprayer to get a similar strength to Speedzone? Thanks!

I think most people don't realize how much they affect the fish in the lake next to them with what they put on their lawn. Same for big farms, but it all gets washed down the drain and off to the river or lake it goes.

How do I kill Bermuda growing in my fescue?

That is great stuff, just too much of the middle number for my southern centipede. The best fert depends on what you have.

When it comes to lawncare, gas will forever be superior to this cordless BS. We have had a Stihl FS131 for 12 years now and have never had a problem with it.

My grass consultant (neighbor who is head of grass maintenance at Mooresville golf course) told me to use the sta+green 8-0-2 natural stuff, at 1/2 rate every week and it's worked phenomenal. Seriously I was incredibly thankful and impressed.

Is this kit no longer available?

I've been using MILORGANITE since 2008; won't be switching. Good information tho.
